Facebook is getting creative to manage the COVID-19 crisis. The company announced a number of social media marketing plans to help businesses use the platform to facilitate better communication around the coronavirus pandemic.
If you have a business that is impacted by COVID-19 and it is changing its hours, then you can update your Facebook page with temporary service changes or temporary closures. Additionally, you can also pin a post to the top of your page’s timeline.
How to Publish Hours Updates and Service Changes
To make the changes:
- Go to the Settings page.
- Click on Edit Page Info on the left side of your page.
- Scroll down to Update Temporary Changes.
- Indicate the changes or choose other options under “Open with Service Changes.”
- Click Save Changes.
